Our Midwives
Sue and Dawn began working together as the Ventura Birth Center in 1998. Since that time, we have attended over 500 births at home, at the birth center, in water. We have had the privilege and the honor of being with families as they welcome their newborns peacefully and respectfully. We continue to participate in peer review and attend classes, conferences and seminars as part of continuing education in midwifery.
We have been thankful to have Davie Holifield with us for many years as a childbirth educator, doula and midwifery student.
